Das repräsentative barocke Anwesen wurde in mehreren gut ablesbaren Bauphasen vom 18. bis ins 20. Jahrhundert umgestaltet, zuletzt 1905 mit dem Zwerchhaus im dritten Geschoß. Über dem massiven Erdgeschoss mit schönen Sandsteingewänden findet sich eines der wenigen Zierfachwerke in Lauffen. Interessant sind die seitlich anstoßende Hofmauer mit Rundbogentor und geohrter (an den Ecken vorspringender) Fußgängerpforte sowie das rückwärtige ehemalige Ökonomiegebäude. Als städtisch wirkendes Wohn- und Geschäftshaus steht das Anwesen beispielhaft für die Entwicklung am Rand des alten „Dorfes“.

La propriété baroque représentative fut transformée en plusieurs étapes de construction bien identifiables du 18^e s. au 20^e s., dont la dernière en 1905 avec la construction d’une grande lucarne au 3^e étage. Au-dessus du rez-de-chaussée massif avec de belles pierres en grès se trouve l’un des rares colombages ornementaux de Lauffen. Le mur latéral de la cour avec une porte en plein cintre et un portail pour l’accès piétonnier avec des angles en saillie ainsi que l’ancien bâtiment d’exploitation à l’arrière de la propriété sont intéressants. En tant que bâtiment résidentiel et commercial d’aspect urbain, la propriété est un exemple de l’évolution en bordure de l’ancien « village ».

The prestigious baroque property was redesigned in several easily perceivable construction phases from the 18^th until into the 20^th century, most recently in 1905 with the dormer on the third floor. Over the solid ground floor with beautiful sandstone jambs, one of the few ornamental timber-frames in Lauffen can be seen. Also of interest are the sideways adjoining courtyard walls with round arch gate and protruding (prominent at the corners) pedestrian gateway, as well as, the rearward former outbuildings. As an urban residence and business premises, the property stands for exemplary development on the edge of the old “village”.
